Executive director Linda Thurman is an author, speaker. She founded Movie Poster Archives after retiring as president and co-founder of Emerald Bayou Studios. Linda is the author of Hollywood South: Glamour, Gumbo, and Greed (Pelican Publishing). Her eclectic career includes film, television, theater, music, and publishing.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Entertainment Coalition and the board of advisors of the Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business and the Louisiana Girls Leadership Academy.

Ed Poole. Consulting Archivist and Chief Researcher, has written more than 20 books on film paper with an emphasis on posters. He is the founder of LAMP: Learn About Movie Posters. Ed coined the phrase “movie accessories” to denote movie-related paper.

Susan Poole, Consulting Researcher. is co-founder of LAMP and has co-authored books on every aspect of movie posters and stills. A hands-on grandmother, Sue is dedicated to learning. She brings a dogged determination as a researcher to MPA.
