Fifty Shades of Louisiana: A Filmmaker’s Paradise is now open at the MPA Gallery, 605 Lapalco Blvd. in Gretna, Louisiana. This fascinating exhibit premiered at the Slidell Cultural Center in January 2022. Edited for the new space, the revival exhibit features posters of films made in Louisiana dating to the early 1900s. A rare Swedish poster of Evangeline (1929) along with an original still of Dolores del Rio is a highlight of the exhibit.

Art of the Film: Louisiana Film Industry Expo launched in January of 2022 with the goal of showcasing the myriad of career opportunities for creative professionals within and related to the industry.
