MPA auctions offer a unique opportunity for film enthusiasts and collectors to own fascinating pieces of cinema history while supporting our ongoing efforts.

We receive a variety of donated items, some of which do not meet the criteria for inclusion in our official archives—such as television, celebrity, and sports memorabilia. Additionally, when we receive multiple copies of the same item, we retain only one or two for preservation, making the rest available through our auctions.

We especially treasure items that are rare, from the early days of film, or hold significant historical interest. Our commitment to film heritage extends beyond physical preservation—we are actively digitizing our collections, having already digitized thousands of images, with plans to make our digital archive accessible online in the future.
